First Try

OK, so I've been trying to take some photographs of our family. I think my family is sick and tired of me using them as my models and it shows in some of these pictures. It was pretty late last night when we did these so I'm going to try again this afternoon. Wish me luck!!!

VOTE!

Reasons to vote:

It's your tax money! Elected representatives decide how much tax you pay and how much each government agency and public department receives to protect and serve our country and its people...that's you!

It's your job! Elected officials affect hiring practices, workplace safety and minimum pay rates. They issue permits and licenses to businesses and provide tax incentives to companies that bring new jobs to our communities.

It's your health care! State and federal lawmakers affect our access to health care and the costs of those services.

They're your highways! Elected representatives at all levels vote for budgets that determine whether stop lights are installed and pot holes are filled on every street and interstate highway across the country.

It's your Social Security! Your United States Senators and Representatives make decisions that affect your retirement and long-term care.

It's the air you breathe and the water you drink! Elected officials set the standards for air and water quality and appoint the regulators to enforce these standards.

It's your neighborhood! Locally elected officials make decisions that affect the speed limit on your street, your 911 service and the crime rate in your community.

NKOTB

Dig out your banana clips, dust off that "I (heart) Joey!!" pin and get ready... cuz the New Kids on the Block are getting back together!!
Does anyone even care if NKOTB gets back together? Do you really want to see 40-year-old Jordan Knight doing the "Hangin' Tough" dance? Can Joey McIntyre even hit those high notes in "Please Don't Go Girl" anymore?

Well, me, for one. I'd totally go. No, seriously. I think we all would like to revisit the days when our biggest worry was what we were going to wear to school, and wheather or not we were going to have a big zit in the middle of our noses when we woke up. There will be a bunch of 30 something year olds shrieking like little girls, and I'd be right there with them, probably shrieking "I love you, Joey Mac!!" just like I did back in 7th grade at the TV screen every time there video was on. . Stop laughing. You know I wouldn't be the only one.

My best friend at the time Sandra and I would get as close to the TV as possible to see them. I remember being so jealous because Sandra had all kinds of NKOTB gear. She had buttons, shirts, and better yet, she had the dolls still in the boxes!!! I used to beg her to play with them, but she knew they would be worth money one day, so she kept them in the boxes. I wonder if she still has them? Those years were some of the best of my adolescent life. Wouldn’t anyone want the opportunity to go back to that simple time? Even if it is just for a few hours.

As embarrassing as this admission is going to be...
... I would be willing to make the 8 hour trip to Boston to see them perform again. I'd be tempted to ask people to send help, but the interventions didn't work in middle school (no matter how hard I tried to be cool and deny how much I wanted to be Mrs. Jordan Knight) and they won't work now.
Bottom line: SQUEEEEE! Count me in!!

Hot Mama

On Friday I was able to do my first maternity shoot. (thanks Krishna). I had a ton of fun with these! Krishna looked absoultly beautiful, and she was easy to photograph. She was game for just about anything. Eventhough she had been on her feet all day long, she was still a very good sport. Here is the result! Enjoy! Baseball

My son James and his friend Johnathan were playing baseball so it was a perfect opportunity to take some action shots. These make me smile every time I see them.

My family

I think if you ask any photographer they will tell you that it is so hard to take portraits of your own family. My youngest (Renzo) refused to be in the picture. My husband (James) and my daughter (Tatianna) looked like they were mad at the world, but my son James was just perfect as always. Here is the result!

My husband

I took pictures of my husband James in his GI. He is currently a blue belt one stripe in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He studies out of spa Jiu Jitsu in Saratoga. I tried to get him to smile but I guess if your trying to be a bad a** you dont' smile!

Malon! (So Pretty)!

I went to a birthday party for some very special people last weekend. McKenzie and Markus. While I was there I had my camera (ofcourse) and the only picture I was able to take was a picture of Mckenzie good friend Malon. I had to tell her that he mom wanted me to take her picture, because she is very shy, and I don't think she like to get her picture taken. I'm sure glad I was able to take this. Isn't she beautiful!???!!??

Blue Belt One Stripe!

Congatulations to my husband who received his first stripe on his Blue Belt. James has been training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for about a year, but just recently started going to Spa City BJJ to get his belts. I am so proud of him. Here is a photograph.

A Day At The Park

We went to the park the other day. Renzo loved it. Although he did fall a few times he still really enjoyed himself. Right up until he started having his tantrum! Here a few from the park.
